Workstation and Office Ergonomic Assessments

When was the last time that you had your workstation assessed?

Considering the number of hours spent at the desk during the working week, it’s no surprise that workplace posture can take its toll on the body! Screen-based work often promotes a forward position of the head and shoulders, creating strain on the muscles of the neck and back.

Our workplace assessments ensure that your desk setup is optimized to reduce the load on your muscles while you work. We make adjustments to your desk, chair, computer and office accessory set up, taking into account the biomechanics of your body and the correct angles at each of the major joints.

You are also given the option to add on an information sheet (+ show-through session) with key exercise recommendations to help you combat the daily aches and pains, and improve your posture.

 

For those with more persistent or severe pain symptoms, we recommend combining the workplace assessment with the more comprehensive Aches & Pains assessment and personalized exercise prescription.
