Pre and Post Natal Exercise Programming

The body goes through an incredible transformation when pregnant - you are literally creating a new human being!

If you are currently pregnant or are returning to exercise after having had bubba, there are some considerations you need to be aware of. The miracle of a new child does come with some changes to the body!!

Training with an exercise physiologist is your best bet - we can help you to make decisions regarding how to continue exercising safely while pregnant, or how to return to exercise in a way that supports your post-baby body.

We will take into account things such as your pelvic floor, check you for abdominal separation, and design an exercise program that works around the considerations specific to new mums.

(We are also mindful of the potential for mental health fluctuations relating to motherhoodโ€ฆ And one of the best things you can do for yourself is to ensure that you are still getting some YOU time!)
