By taking into account the specific considerations relevant to your condition, we provide a personalised exercise plan which is safe, effective, and based on the best available scientific evidence. The Initial Assessment will include a combination of some or all of the following, as deemed appropriate for your unique condition and current health status:

  • A thorough discussion around your Health History and current limitations

  • Lifestyle analysis - A comprehensive assessment of the 4 major pillars of health (current exercise habits, nutrition, sleep, stress management)

  • Cardiovascular risk factor analysis & screening - Including measurements such as blood pressure, resting heart rate, and BMI,

  • Submaximal exercise testing - Blood Pressure and Heart Rate monitored if appropriate

  • Musculoskeletal assessment - Assessing your general flexibility and strength

  • Functional measures - Such as Balance and Movement Patterns

  • Questionnaires - To assess your subjective ratings of wellbeing versus limitation

The information gained from the assessment is used to create your highly individualized, evidence-based exercise and lifestyle program! You then have the choice of whether you would like the guidance of regular supervised exercise sessions/ check ins, or prefer to take your program away to do in your own time.
