Chronic Pain

Thank you so much for your sessions at Waterford. Having had limited movement and constant pain before I started, throughout the course of the sessions, I ended up with more mobility and less pain, so much in fact that I have decided on no back operation but to see if I can manage the situation.

When you said that you were shifting [to Taupo], I decided that I would definitely do the next thing I heard of. Little did I know that was going to be line dancing! So Jan, Katharine and I started line dancing. I only do a small portion of what everyone wise does, but so much more than I could have done before your sessions. So thank you. The three of us talk about how wonderful your sessions were and the pity you are now too far to travel to your sessions.

After suffering sciatic pain affecting my back and left leg for over 7 months, I am feeling like a new person.  I have new strength and flexibility in my back, which will help prevent further problems. I highly recommend Yolanda as a personal trainer. She took me for one on one training sessions and during the time I got to know her, I found her to be professional, persuasive and a great motivator. Yolanda concentrated on stretching and strengthening exercises which made a significant difference to my health. She was great at tweaking the exercises to suit my needs, so the sessions were always interesting and kept me on my toes ! I wish her every success in her new venture I only wish she was closer so that we could continue our sessions….

I saw Yolanda as I have struggled with back, neck and hip chronic pain due to RSI, old injuries and from being a dancer. She really understood what my main areas of concern were and her testing was very thorough. I'd never seen anyone before that actually went through all my muscle groups and then developed a programme which would directly help each one. I now know and understand the stretches and exercises to do when I have aches and and pains and I am getting stronger and feeling less pain. I am also a lot happier and feel like I have more control over my chronic pain. I cannot thank Yolanda enough.

Cardiac

I have been working with Yolanda since February 2018. Prior to this I was an executive in the corporate world and had recently survived a heart attack. This came as an incredible shock to me in my early 40’s and restricted me to walking only.

More recently I have completed my first half marathon and regularly run between 100-140km a month in addition to other fitness and sporting activities. Today I feel stronger, fitter and have a new found respect for my health and general well being.

Yolanda and KinetEx have been with me every step of the way, developing personalised and professional programs that work for me to deliver on the health and fitness goals we set together.

Low Impact Class

Yolanda has been my longtime coach for a balance and stretch class. She has always been helpful, patient and insightful. It’s very sad to see her move away. If it wasn’t so far I would still travel weekly for the class. I can recommend anyone contemplating joining her classes to do so.
